Fight for Air Climb

Strasburg Fire and Byers Fire were both proud to be represented at the American Lung Association’s annual Fight for Air Climb.  As a test of fitness, firefighters like Strasburg Division Chief Patrick Conroy, EMT/FF Justin Parsons and Byers Paramedic/FF Sam Hibbard enjoy the challenge of running the course in full turnout gear with their SCBA’s, which is no small feat!  Hiking from the main level to the top on all sets of stairs of the stadium, they helped the American Lung Association raise $186,573 dollars this year to further its mission of promoting lung health, education and research.
